Val Kilmer , The Forever Batman and Top Gun Icon may have passed away too early at just 65 years old, but his legacy will now live forever for over 1 billion years in a time capsule launched to the moon last year atop a SpaceX Falcon 9.

Val Kilmer was bey loved around the world and died too early at just 65 years old

222 art projects were curated by Space curator and Hollywood director Dallas Santana, leading the record setting futuristic space art organization Space Blue’s initiatives, which he only placed a handful of Hollywood icons like Leonardo Dicaprio and Grammy winner Timbaland, who also directly had projects in the time capsule . Joining these legends, was also Remo Camatero, the creative art director of Val Kilmer’s art group and which placed his art work done of the Top Gun and Batman Forever icon into the space mission. The artwork was taken from canvas, digitized was later inscribed onto metal disks by the space contractors who made up the 18 levels inside of the Lunaprise art museum, the first museum in history to land on the moon on February 22nd, 2024. The museum was bolted to the Odessyus Lander, and is estimated to last over 1 billion years. The museum was part of the first landing on the Moon for the USA and NASA in over 50 years.

Val Kilmer founded an artist program called Kamp Kilmer, which touched the lives of many artists, art lovers and art collectors who were inspired by Val Kilmer’s support of the arts. His organization is online at www.KampKilmer.io a nd its through Kamp Kilmer that Remo found his way to create some very iconic paintings of Val Kilmer that are loved by fans and art collectors.

Joining these legendary artists sent to the moon, was also artist and creative producer Remo Camerota who worked with Val Kilmer’s art group Kamp Kilmer, and placed art work done of the film Top Gun and was the creative director at Kamp Kilmer.

Dallas Santana, curator of Space Blue got together with Pink Floyd former band member and saxaphone lead Scott Page, to a curate an anthology of Scott’s interesting life living in Hollywood and working with stars that he sent to the moon under a project titled“My Moon Exp”. Scott recruited a well known artist selected for Val Kilmer’s Art program Remo Camatero, and they got to wokr to get the art digitizes and etched onto metal discs that Dallas Santana was curating and coordinating with the official NASA recognized payload company, Galatic Legacy Labs for the historic Lunaprise Project.

I am really glad artists Scott Page and Remo Camero had the foresight to see the iconography of putting this art up on the moon. There are not a lot of Hollywood legends up there , its a rare thing that occured but we couldn’t think of anyone more humble and worthy of such a legacy in this art project especialy Val’s devottion to art and supporting many artists careers and expansion through his art camp”- stated Space Blue Founder and Lunaprise Curator Dallas Santana.

Fans of Val Kilmer can now look up at the moon’s South Pole at night and imagine the legacy this beloved star left for the world.
