As reported on Space.com and in the published payload manifest of the lunar lander Odysseus, only Lunaprise is the official payload of digital and inscribed art (other than Jeff Koons' "Moon Phases," which were attached to the Odysseus lander separately under direct contractual arrangements with the lander company). If any unauthorized party falsely claims to be an authorized representative regarding the Lunaprise or illegally makes and sells copies of copyrighted materials from the Lunaprise discs, please contact legal@gll.space and legal@spaceblue.club with such information. All tips will be kept confidential.
#SOLE LEGAL AUTHORITY
Only Galactic Legacy Labs and its curation partner Space Blue are authorized to certify and duplicate the copyrighted contents of the Lunaprise payload. They are also the only officially contracted party to have attached the Lunaprise discs to the lunar lander.
The contents of Lunaprise form part of a historic time capsule containing many private projects that copyright owners and collectors requested be kept confidential and private. These now rest on the Moon since landing there on February 22, 2024. It also contains memorial Lunagram message tributes to loved ones who have passed on.
Anyone desecrating such private memorial information, or sharing and selling artists’ confidential copyrighted information, or selling bootleg discs of Lunaprise property, is subject to criminal and civil prosecution. We are continuing to gather evidence concerning this illegal activity for our legal team.
In 2025, the Galactic Legacy Labs criminal investigative legal team issued a cease and desist notice to a renegade terminated disc employee who may have crossed into criminal bootleg activities—with the cooperation of other conspirators—in order to sell bootlegged copyrighted contents of Lunaprise to customers. Our legal team also notified them of other activities, including criminal embezzlement.
